Degree in physiotherapy (Universitat de València, 1987) and Bachelor’s degree in Humanities (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, 2002). PhD awarded by Universitat Rovira i Virgili (department of pedagogy, 2008). Professor at the faculty of medicine and health sciences of Universitat Rovira i Virgili since 1993. Researcher and trainer in fibromyalgia (scientific articles, postgraduate courses at Universidad de Alcalá and Universidad de Castilla La Mancha). Research and courses on myofascial pain (published articles and participation in national and international congresses). Member of several scientific committees in national and international congresses. Co-author of the book "Fisioteràpia invasiva de la síndrome de dolor miofascial. Manual de punció seca de punts gallet” (2017) (“Invasive physiotherapy in the treatment of myofascial pain syndrome. Manual of dry needling of trigger points”). Winner of the 2006 June Nystrom award for physiotherapy
