Miquel Àngel Cos Morera
Physiotherapist. Osteopath. He works for the athletics national team and CAR, Centre d’Alt Rendiment (high performance sports centre)
Degree in physiotherapy awarded by Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Master’s degree in osteopathy. Doctoral student. Head of the department of sports physiotherapy and readaptation at CAR in Sant Cugat. Working for the athletics national team since 1988. Director of the master’s programme on sports physiotherapy and restoration of physical activity at EUF Gimbernat (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona) – 21 editions. Professor at “Formations en Kinesthérapie du Sport”, Paris (since 2007). Working at the COS MORERA physiotherapy-osteopathy-nursing centre, founded in 1967, in Terrassa (www.cosmorera.cat). Osteopath of the FC Barcelona first team (for 7 seasons) and the RC Deportivo de la Coruña (1999-2000 season). Member of the Spanish Olympic Committee medical service, he has participated in 7 Olympic games: Barcelona’92, Atlanta’96, Sydney’00, Athens’04, Beijing’08, London’12 and Rio de Janeiro’16. Winner of the 2012 June Nystrom award for physiotherapy.
